Anticipating assembly elections in February, the government has expedited the process of recruitments in the State.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant chaired a meeting with heads of departments to review the process of recruitments, pending works and implementation of schemes.
Sawant issued a deadline of December 31 to complete the recruitment process, commission projects and laying of foundation stones for new projects.
The chief minister has convened another meeting of various officials of government departments and corporations on October 7 to get exact details about the recruitment process so that the process can be completed before December 31.
"Recruitment of vacancies to be carried out before December 31. New reforms/initiative/schemes to be implemented before December 31. New projects to be inaugurated/laid foundation stone before December 31,” were the points in the agenda for the meeting.
The officials have been instructed to compile data of work completed, work planned and work scheduled, which will be discuss in the meeting on October 7.
