Chief Minister Pramod Sawant refuted rumors he has been hospitalized for health reasons.
“I have gone to Manipal Hospital to visit a relative who was admitted there. After visiting him I went back to my residential bungalow. People should not believe in fake news,” said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
There were rumors floating on social media that the Chief Minister was admitted to Manipal after he complained of chest pain. OSD to CM Atmaram Barve has also denied the fake news and wrote a Facebook post saying the CM was fine and healthy.
The CM had a packed schedule on Friday. He paid floral tributes to Vinayak Savarkar on his birth anniversary at Porvorim and then along with Ayush Minister Shripad Naik distributed AYUSH 64, a polyherbal formulation developed by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences.
