Work to desilt Quelossim nullah begins

Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha on Thursday launched the work to desilt nullah at Quelossim. The works has been taken up through the Water Resources Department at a cost of Rs 4 lakh.

Quelossim Sarpanch Maria Souza, Deputy Sarpanch Sebastiao Serrao, WRD Assistant Engineer Ajay Kudchadkar and other villagers were present on the occasion. Saldanha said the desilting of the Nullah would go a long way to help farmers to cultivate their fields.
