MAPUSA: PWD Minister, Sudhin Dhavlikar on Tuesday said that there was no need for Manohar Parrikar to step down as the chief minister of the State, as other ministers had enough experience and capability to run the government smoothly.
“Works on several projects are going on and we are capable of carrying forward all the works in the State. The ministers know all the rules and regulations and are capable to help people with issues from any other departments,” Dhavlikar said while responding to a question from the media.
He said the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, President, Girish Chodankar was deliberately raising unnecessary issues to divert people’s mind.
“They do not want others to work. This government is of the people and we will do all the works of the people,” he said.
On whether he would be the next chief minister of Goa, Dhavlikar said that it was for the people of Goa to decide.
