The party said they are also going to win Mapusa, Mandrem and Shiroda by-poll to be held on the same day as the LS polls. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant claimed that a vote for BJP is a vote for Nav Bharat (New India).

In regards to Panaji assembly constituency by-poll to be held on May 19, CM Sawant said that he is 100 per cent confident of BJP’s victory there. The campaign for State’s two LS constituencies and three assembly by-polls came to an end on Sunday at 5 pm.

CM Sawant claimed that BJP’s campaign spanning over two months was executed in three phases. The first phase involved BJP volunteers undertaking a door-to-door campaign. The second phase saw candidate Shripad Naik personally visiting all the 20 assembly constituencies in North Goa LS constituency. The third phase was focused on public meets to make voters aware of BJP’s work.

The CM claimed to have visited all assembly constituency for campaigning except for Marcaim and Quepem. He said that he was not able to visit them due to scheduling issue of the events. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis have personally come to campaign in the state. The CM also claimed that Shripad Naik is known for his work and that has enabled him to get elected to the Lok Sabha from North Goa for 20 years in a row. He urged the voters to bring BJP to power for a stable government.
