Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday evening arrived in Vasco and visited the Damodar temple to offer prayers on the occasion of the Damodar Saptah festival.
Sawant was accompanied by Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, industrialist Prashant Joshi, former minister Chandrakant Kavlekar and Saptah Samiti president Krishna Sonurlekar.
Speaking to the media, Sawant said that he had arrived to offer prayers at the Damodar temple along with BJP Karyakartas
Speaking over the Niti Ayog meeting in Delhi, Sawant said that various issues and topics would be discussed.
Sawant later had dinner at the residence of Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar before leaving for Delhi from the Dabolim airport.
