Coal revolt padyatra from Shristhal to Polem today

CANACONA
The Revolutionary Goans has urged Goans to come out in large numbers to participate in the coal revolt mega walk from Shristhal to Polem checkpost on December 5, at 2 pm, to protect Goa from becoming a coal hub.

In a press note, RG states that on November 27, 2020 a coal revolt had commenced from Patradevi and after a peaceful walk of six days and covering 120 km it had to be discontinued due to the code of conduct imposed for the Zilla Panchayat elections. Later they were unable to complete the mega walk due to the election code of conduct, Covid-19, lockdown and other difficulties, states the press note.

Revolutionary Goans, powered by GSRP party Canacona candidate Prashant Pagi has urged Goans and especially Canconkars to be part of this historical movement on December 5 as the coal revolt padyatra will resume and reach to its logical end, adds the press note.
