South Goa District Congress Committee will pay homage to former prime minister late Rajiv Gandhi on his 30th death anniversary on 21 May by Distributing 50,000 masks in all 20 block committees of South Goa.
SGDCC president Joseph Dias said “as a part nationwide programme of AICC, our entire organisation including party leaders, block committees, frontal organisations, district & state offices bearers, ZP candidates & others will carry out mask distribution to needy people in their respective areas. We will also organise a simple program to offer floral tributes to the leader who brought IT revolution in our country, at district office, Margao”.
He added: “Our teams will follow all safety norms and will take necessary precautions while distributing masks to the needy and has appealed needy people to avail benefits of the same”.
