Addressing a press conference, Mulla revealed how the minority cell was strengthened by bringing in Adv John Monteiro, Irfan Aga, Shamshad Bi, Mushtaq Ahmed and others in various blocks.
“Our leader Khurshid Saiyed is expected to arrive in the State on August 27, where he will hold a public meeting. During this meeting we will put forth a demand for seats to the Muslim community,” Mulla said.   “We are looking for one seat in the North and one in the South,” Mulla said.
“In Goa, minorities are not only Muslims, so the seats have to be spread evenly, several factors have to be considered including the winnability factor, whether the candidate has worked for the party, etc,” Mulla said.
