The Congress party on Monday launched a national talent hunt programme in Goa to train and empower the next generation of media spokespersons and panellists.
AICC Social Media Chairman Supriya Shrinate launched the initiative. Under the campaign, applications will be accepted until December 9, followed by a screening and interview process.
Shrinate said the programme would give young people who believe in the party’s ideology a chance to connect with both the All India Congress Committee and the State Congress Committee.
She described the Congress National Talent Hunt as a platform for sharp minds, bold voices and fearless defenders of India’s core values.
“If you are ready to speak, lead and contribute towards building an inclusive and prosperous India, this is your moment. Those who believe in Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology and the values of the Congress party should take this opportunity,” Shrinate said, adding that the party expects a strong response from Goa as Goans are very active on social media.
She said the campaign aims to empower the next generation of media representatives within the party, while also giving Goans a chance to highlight their regional issues at the national level.
Shrinate also said that the opportunity is open to anyone who is passionate about contributing to the nation’s growth and development.
