After the disappointing results in the State Assembly elections, the Indian National Congress (INC) has taken the issue seriously and all Congress leaders, karyakartas and candidates are churning out ideas to make the party stronger in Goa. The recently organised Chintan Shibir was one such endeavour to bring together all Congressmen under one roof and discuss their failure in the polls.State Congress chief Amit Patkar while replying to the media on the outcome of the Chintan Shibir stated that it was basically to revive the party. “The Chintan Shibir aimed at reviving the Congress in the State. There are certain things that need to be put in place,” said Patkar and indicated that soon the party will have a small workshop in the State for its MLAs, karyakartas and candidates.
Patkar’s indication reveals that the INC is gearing up and making its position strong in the State. “You shall see this in a couple of days,” said Patkar.
