With Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao urging NCP leadership to take a call on the Cong-NCP alliance by October 30, sources do not rule out a meeting between the leaders of the two parties in the national capital on Wednesday.
Sources in the NCP informed that party supremo Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel had assured Churchill last week that the party leadership will discuss the alliance issue with the Congress leaders this week.
Churchill has threatened to chart out an independent course in the event the Congress does not tie up with the NCP.
