The South Goa district Police, Pankaj Kumar Singh, who is holding additional charge of Superintendent of Police, North Goa, has placed under suspension a police constable pending inquiry.
Taking cognizance of an incident that went rival on social media wherein a police constable was seen throwing his weight around in the police barracks by assaulting an injured personnel.
SP Pankaj Kumar said “prima facie looking into the incident, the staff concerned has been placed under suspension pending inquiry. We have taken cognizance of the episode via the social media and message services”.
