ESI hospital Covid patient count reaches 23

The Covid care centre at the ESI hospital, Margao, admitted a patient on Friday, taking the number of asymptomatic patients there to 23.

Till Thursday, around 22 asymptomatic patients were housed in the ESI hospital, which has resumed operations again from Sunday as a Covid care centre.

ESI hospital Medical Superintendent, Dr Vishwajit Faldessai, informed that the number of asymptomatic patients admitted in the hospital as of Friday stands at 23. Meanwhile, at the Margao urban health centre cases were pegged at 339 as against 348 on Thursday, a decline of nine active cases.
