In a meticulously planned joint operation, Vasco Police and a police team of Chaklamba Police Station, Bhid-Malegaon, Maharashtra, nabbed a 32-year-old man at Dabolim, who had allegedly murdered his paramour at Bhid.

Bhid-Malegaon, Maharashtra, nabbed the accused Harichander Dadasaheb Kharat at Dabolim, who had allegedly murdered his paramour at Bhid on October 7.
The accused had initially murdered the victim at Bhid and thereafter set her on fire and threw her body in a well about 500 metres away from the murder scene.
Police sources said the accused had initially fled to Rajasthan and after arriving in Goa on October 18, took up work of a labourer at a construction site at Dabolim on October 19, before he was nabbed in a joint operation by Vasco Police along with Chaklamba Police.
The accused was found in possession of silver and gold jewellery of the deceased woman. Chaklamba Police has left for Bhid along with the accused on Friday.
