PONDA: Sanvordem MLA Ganesh Gaokar on Friday laid the foundation stone for a bridge between Molem-Palaskatta and Dhat farm.
Others present at the function included Mollem Sarpanch Kapil Naik, Panch Rajendra Dessai, Babu Zore, Snehlata Naik and Ramnath Gaude.
Stating that locals had been demanding a bridge since the last few years, Gaonkar said he had managed to achieve 99% development in Sanvordem with the assistance of the BJP government. “Next year, I will try and construct a road between Dhat farm and Shigao,” he said.
Kapil Gaonkar appealed to the people to elect Gaonkar in the next assembly election.
