Corporates should contribute to progress
PANAJI: Minister for Industries, Mahadev Naik has said that the stakeholders of the corporate sector have enough potential to contribute to the socio-economic development in the State. This he said will be possible only if the stakeholders have the will to contribute in the larger interest of the society.
Naik was speaking as a chief guest at the prize distribution function of State-level drawing competition on energy conservation organized by the Power Grid Corporation, India Ltd at Taleigao, in order to educate the masses on energy conservation. Avish Naik, Navami Bhat and Kirtana Naik won first, second and third prizes respectively in A category. Whereas, in B category, Manali Naik, Sohani Bhande and Savpriet Khawlkar won the prizes. Naik handed over the prizes to the winners.
SK Gupta executive director, PGCIL welcomed while Gajanan P Bhat, Director of Education judged the competition. Anilkumar Sharma, DGM PGCL proposed the vote of thanks.
