One person succumbed to Covid in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative death toll to 3,203 in Goa, which recorded a positivity percentage of 2.17% with 104 of the 4,791 samples testing positive for Covid.
With 120 recoveries, the recovery rate stood at 97.65% and with 104 new cases, the active Covid count now stands at 896. The patients discharged from the hospitals were five and new admissions were 11.
During the past week, from August 23 to 29, the total tests done were 35,543 and the total positive cases were 627. The total antigen tests done in the State were 22,814, and the total RT-PCR tests were 12,729. The overall positivity recorded during this period was 1.76%, the antigen positivity was 1.41% and the RT-PCR positivity recorded was 2.69%.
