Woman hurt in accident
MARGAO: A scooterist who was proceeding from Verna towards KTC bus stand, Margao,
knocked down a 60-year-old woman near KTC bus stand, Margao.
According to Margao town police, the accident occurred on November 23, when the woman who was crossing the main road, was knocked down by an unidentified scooterist. The woman suffered head injuries in the accident.
Margao town police have registered an offence under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC.

Duo injured in accident
MARGAO: Two persons were injured in an accident which occurred between a scooter and a
motorcycle at Bainfall-Assolna.
According to Cuncolim police, the accident occurred when the motorcyclist, one Oswald, was proceeding from Velim towards Assolna. On reaching the three-road junction at Bainfall-Assolna, his motorcycle skidded while overtaking a car and dashed against an oncoming scooter ridden by one Athanasius (55), resident of Velim. Both the riders were injured in the accident.
Cuncolim police have registered an offence under Sections 279 and 338 of IPC.
