From Raia, rally made its way to Curtorim
The bike rally taken out by Curtorim BJP Mandal on Sunday ahead of Independence Day.

On the occasion of Independence Day celebrations, the BJP Curtorim Mandal organised a bike rally on Sunday which was flagged off from the Manora Ground Raia.
The rally was flagged off by Police Inspector Maina Curtorim Police Station PI Arun Gawas Desai in the presence of Dr Pranav Bhagwat. Curtorim BJP Leader Anthony Barbosa, Mandal President Nilkanth Ekawade, Yuva Marcha President Harsh Phadte, Mahila Morcha President Babita Borkar and others participated in the bike rally, which wended its way from Manora ground, Raia Church- Santimol-Maina and Curtorim.
While addressing the rally, PI Arun Desai complimented the organisers for arranging the Tiranga rally and wished them Happy Independence Day. He expressed his happiness that bikers observed discipline by wearing helmets while participating in the rally.
Dr Pranav Bhagwat spoke on the freedom fighters who fought and laid their life for our country to make India independent.
BJP ST leader Anthony Barbosa said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is instrumental in giving the citizens an opportunity to hoist the country flags in their homes.
Meanwhile, Margao MLA Digambar Kamat along with MMC Chairperson Damu Shirodkar, BJP President Rupesh Mahatme and others flagged off a bike rally from the MMC square on Sunday.
