Dabolim man held for fatal accident

CORTALIM: Verna Police on Tuesday arrested a resident of Dabolim in connection with the fatal accident at Cortalim on Monday evening.

Krishna Karapurkar, who was later released on bail, had fled from the site of accident after the mishap took place which claimed the life of a 19-year-old girl Joyce Sharon D'Cruz, a resident of 1st Arvale, Cortalim. Police investigations are in progress.
