Theft at Margao rail quarters
MARGAO: Unidentified persons broke open the lock of the main door of a railway quarter in Margao and decamped with cash amount of Rs 1,000.
Acting on the complaint lodged by one Varadananda, a resident of railway quarter located near Margao railway station, the incident occurred between April 16 to 18, when unidentified persons effected entry into the quarters and made good their escape with the cash which was in the cupboard.
Margao town police have registered an offence under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of IPC. Further investigations are in progress.
