“I had a crime review meeting with police officers from down South. I have insisted that the police initiate quick action as part of smart policing to secure the safety and security of the people of South Goa”, he said.
The GDP added: “I have discussed with all my officers on issues concerning crime and I am confident they will take action”.
When the media drew his attention that his predecessor had requisitioned vehicles from the police stations in the party, GDP Shukla shot back “How many vehicles do the police stations want. There is now no shortage of vehicles. Every police station should have vehicles”, while directing the SP, South to find out the requirement and place the requisition with the headquarters.
