Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has urged both Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch (BBSM) and Forum on Rights to Children’s Education (FORCE) not fall prey to political elements which are trying to instigate them during the election year.
Speaking to media on the sidelines of a function, Parsekar said, “As this is the election year, there are some elements that are trying to instigate them. They should not politicise the issue. As these elements are not getting issues to raise against the government, they are using MoI to paint a negative picture of the government.”
Stating that BBSM and FORCE are taking two extreme stands on the issue of MoI, he said, “Goa is achieving milestones in the field of education. Both groups which are taking extreme stands have to think on this. This will not benefit Goans.”
Urging both the groups to be positive in their approach, Parsekar said, “I would like to tell both not to take extreme stands. We have to move forward together. We have to think about everyone and at the same time work towards providing best facilities to today’s youth. There is no need for agitation. They can spread awareness on their subject so that the positive things which need to be done will get noticed.”
