Drive against vector-borne diseases in Margao

MARGAO
The Margao Urban Health Centre team on Saturday descended in ward no 8 of the Margao Municipal Council to spread awareness on vector-borne diseases, following a rise in dengue and chikungunya cases in the Borda area.  

Health officials pointed out that a number of dengue and chikungunya cases were reported in the area near Multipurpose school in the recent past.  

“Around 35 health staffers participated in the awareness drive in the locality”, Ward Councilor Camilo Barretto said.
