BITS Goa economics conclave
PANAJI: The department of Economics at BITS Pilani, KK Birla Goa Campus is organizing BITS Goa Economics Conclave during March 12 and 13, at the campus. In the context of India embarking on series of game changing economic and entrepreneurial campaigns like ‘Make in India,’ ‘Skill India’ and ‘Digital India’ the conclave will stimulate a series of dialogues on development themes ranging from urban sustainability, political ecology of resource conflicts, democracy and welfare, issues of growth, development & distribution, high growth entrepreneurship, innovation, technology & SMEs.
The two-day open house event will host lectures of six eminent economists & social scientists. Participation is open through registration. The event is organized in collaboration with NABARD, Goa and shall be held at BITS Goa Tele Presence Room.
