Nine illegal constructions have been demolished by the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority and Anjuna-Caisua Panchayat.
Acting on high court orders, sources said 38 structures which were built in the CRZ zone were identified and marked for demolition.
A JCB and a demolition team razed four structures on Wednesday and five on Thursday.
The owners of one structure obtained a stay from the high court.
Anjuna Sarpanch Laxmidas Chimulkar said the panchayat has initiated the drive to demolish illegal constructions falling under the CRZ area with the help of the GCZMA and added that the drive would continue.
