Enrolment for six job-oriented courses went onstream at GMR's Aviation Skill Development Centre (ASDC) at Mopa.
The six courses include Retail Sales Associate, F&B service steward, housekeeping attendant, HVAC/RAC technician, assistant electrician and light commercial driver.
The courses are aligned to National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and as per qualification packs of Sector Skill Councils.
The job training alert of the ASDC, Mopa was disseminated in a tweet by the official handle of Chief Minister's Office.
"A new avenue opened for Goa's youth at the Aviation Skill Development Centre (ASDC)," the CMO said.
Desirious candidates need to fill an application form which is available on GMR's website www.gmrgroup.in and submit the hard copy along with relevant documents as indicated in the form.
The application form can also be sent via email to asdc.goa@gmrgroup.in.
Following initial screening based on documents submitted, eligible candidates will be called for an assessment and counseling and preference will be given to applicants from project affected areas -- the five panchayats around the airport site, followed by overall Pernem Taluka.
