PONDA
Prabhudessai is a native of Cotombi-Quepem and is survived by his wife Saroj and sons Dr Vivek Prabhudessai (Ponda) and Vimlesh (Porvorim).
Prabhudessai served Goa government on various administrative positions. During his tenure, he served as a BDO, Mamlatdar, Deputy Collector, Director in various talukas and departments. He retired as the Director of the Civil Supplies Department in 1997, a senior scale administrative post in the Government of Goa.
Prabhudessai was admired by people and staff alike
for his no-nonsense attitude, discipline and his helpful and sensitive nature towards the public. The last rites were held on the same day.
