Fadnavis coming on September 20 to chalk out poll strategy: Sawant

 MAPUSA

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday informed that senior BJP leaders including election in-charge Devendra Fadnavis will arrive in the State on September 20 to chalk out the strategy for the upcoming assembly polls.

Sawant also maintained that BJP will storm back to power with a clear majority in the 2022 assembly elections in the State.

“On my way back home from Gujarat, I met BJP’s election in-charge of Goa, Devendra Fadnavis and co-incharge Darshana Jardosh and discussed the ongoing political situation in the State with them,” Sawant said.

“Fadnavis, Jardosh and Goa Observer C T Ravi will arrive in the State on September 20 to discuss and strategize for the forthcoming assembly elections in the State. They will be meeting the State party president, core committee and others while chalking out a road map for the elections,” he added.

He said Goa will definitely benefit in a big way from the vast experience of former Maharashtra CM and present leader of opposition Devendra Fadnavis who has overseen several elections in the past.

The CM said the party was focusing on planned preparation for the elections and BJP would win the 2022 State assembly elections with full majority.

Incidentally, party MLAs and senior BJP leaders have been holding meetings with various organisations of the party in bid to keep the karyakartas enthused.

In well-planned public outreach programmes around the State, the chief minister and the party president Sadanand Tanavde have been moving from one constituency to the other and meeting party workers to drum up support for the elections.
