Last season’s runners-up FC Goa rallied to hold Atletico de Kolkata 1-1 and open their account after a hat-trick of defeats in an intense Indian Super League football clash in Kolkata on Sunday. Both teams were reduced to 10 players with ATK receiving as many as three yellow cards and one red, while FC Goa had a share of four yellow cards and one red in the hard-fought match at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium.
South African Sameehg Doutie put ATK ahead as early in the sixth minute but they failed to make much headway as the Goans bounced back riding on a spot kick from Joffre Mateu in the 76th minute.
