Financial literacy prog held
MAPUSA: In an attempt to familiarize students with banking operations, the Mapusa branch of Syndicate Bank conducted a financial literacy programme at government Industrial Training Institute, Mapusa.
During the financial literacy programme, students were given a power point presentation regarding the basic concept of banking, procedure of opening bank account, various types of bank accounts, deposits and loan scheme of bank.
The programme was conducted by Govind Parwar. Syndicate Bank, branch manager, TC Gupta briefed the students regarding the bank history and various bank products, while ITI Principal Nilesh Gawas welcomed the gathering.
