The Margao police has registered a FIR against the persons in connection with the damage caused to the car owned by city based lawyer Adv Leona Barretto at Calconda-Margao.
In her complaint, the lawyer had alleged that when she was accompanied with Vijay Chandrakant Mascarenhas and SGPDA Officer Damodar Naik for a site inspection, the accused persons Digambar Sawal,
Asif, Nilu and three unknown persons with their common object formed an unlawful assembly, abused the complainant and threaten her with dire consequences, besides damaging the rear windshield of her Swift car.
The lawyers on Wednesday had drawn the attention of the president of the South Goa Advocates Association Prasad Naik about the incident.
