According to reports, the accident took place late Sunday evening when he was proceeding on a two-wheeler. Gaude reportedly rammed into a herd of stray cattle and was grievously injured in the mishap.
He was shifted to the GMC hospital at Bambolim, where he breathed his last on Wednesday.
The final rites will be performed at Marcaim on Thursday. Gaude, who was a bachelor is survived by his parents and two younger siblings.
This is the second fatal mishap involving a two-wheeler within two days, after two youth from Orissa died when their two-wheeler rammed into a stationary truck along NH17-B at Shantinagar-Dabolim on Tuesday.
