Four godmen arrested in Pernem

PERNEM: Pernem Police on Tuesday arrested four 'godmen' operating near a banyan tree at Godetalav-Waghcolamb in Harmal, in connection with the disappearance of a youth from Nagpur.

The accused have been identified as Ashokkumar Rana of Himachal Pradesh (62), and Niminath Arunkumar (62), Ejanand Mahamad Yusuf (38) and Harpal Gurucharan (70), all three from Jharkhand.

According to Pernem Police, Harpal Bhaveja (24) from Nagpur was with these godmen and went missing on December 28.

Police said Harpal's father lodged a police on Tuesday and acting on the complaint, Pernem Police arrested all the four godmen.
