Piedade Borges, a resident of Fatorda, Margao received a shock on seeing the bill amounting to Rs 44 lakh rupees from the electricity department.
Residing in a house of just 4 rooms, Borges has been payingan average of Rs 400-500 towards his electricity bills but received a blow on seeing a huge amount on the periodic bill from the electricity deparment.
In the recently held assembly the issue of high electricity bills was discussed.
