Firemen engaged in fire fighting operation at Colva where a four-wheeler was engulfed by fire.

A Sumo Grande vehicle was gutted in a major fire on the Colva road on Monday morning, causing a loss of over Rs 1.7 lakh.
Margao Fire Brigade rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. However, the engine of the vehicle was completely gutted in the fire.
Fire Officer Gill D’Sa informed that the owner of the vehicle had gone to attend the Fama at the Colva Church by parking the vehicle opposite the Canara Bank, Colva.
He said the vehicle engine has been gutted in the fire, causing total loss of Rs 1.7 lakh.
