The popular Gade festival of Sal village in Bicholim will be celebrated from March 24 to 26.
The programme will be jointly organised by Mahadev Bhumika Devasthan Samiti and Sal villagers.
The Gade will start at 11.30 pm and end at 4 am every day. The Samiti has also installed a police outpost to maintain law and order to avoid any untoward incident.
People are requested to reach Sal before 11.30 pm and will be allowed to go home only after 4 am. People from Dodamarg, Kasarpal and surrounding areas are also requested to park their vehicles at Sal high school sports ground.
Committee president Ladu Raut, members Vishwanath Parab, Sandeep Raut, Santosh Raut, Soma Raut, Kalidas Raut, Ashok Parab, Vishal Parab and Suresh Parab have asked people to co-operate.
Sal Sarpanch Ghanashyam Raut said the panchayat will provide full help and co-operation to make the festival a success.
