Police seized dozens of packets of ganja hidden in pipes lying close to the place where the Corporation of the City of Panaji had a couple of days ago cleared make-shift huts of street urchins on the Parade Grounds in
Campal.
The 43 packets of the narcotic substance were discovered hidden in the MS water pipes lying there and were discovered when CCP officials accompanied by the police were mopping up their operation to clear the area of the street dwellers which they had begun a couple of days
ago.
CCP Mayor Uday Madkaikar was personally present at the site when the drugs were discovered.
