In a major haul of drugs in the commercial capital, the Margao police has arrested a youth from Nagpur and recovered from his possession ganja weighing two kilograms, valued at around Rs two lakhs in the narcotics market.
Acting on a tip-off, a Margao police team headed by PI Ditendra Naik swopped down on the accused Hari Om Rathod when he had come with the bag containing the drugs near the toilet block at Malbhat-Margao.
PI Naik said that a search conducted on the bag carried by the accused revealed that he was carrying two kilograms of ganja worth Rs two lakh.
PSI Dhavlikar is investigating the case.
