Gera Developments is planning to come up with a residential project at Kadamba Plateau, which will be exclusively targeted at couples having small children.
The idea behind the project is to provide various kinds of facilities within the gated residential complex like day-care, playgrounds in vehicle-free zone, staircase with safety door and to top it all, even coaching courses in music and sports from the best available talent in the country.
Rohit Gera, Managing Director, Gera Developments, informed that the child-centric residential project in Goa is in planning stages and will get formally launched in the early part of 2018.
Elaborating on the concept of such a project, Gera said, "We have recently finished a child-centric residential project called ‘Song of Joy' at Karadi in Pune. At this project, we have managed to tie-up with training academies of iconic sportsmen like Anil Kumble, Mahesh Bhupati and Vishwanathan Anand and also with dance academy of Shaimak Davar and an academy of theatre personality, Lillete Dubey."
These academies will appoint coaches to train children, who then will be able to decide which direction to take in their lives. Rohit Gera further explained, "Our research shows that people buy homes much earlier in their lives than 20 years ago. They want best for their children. Often, husband and wife both work and it becomes difficult to raise kids. Therefore, we thought about the idea of providing all the facilities in one residential project." Gera Developments is aiming to use the same strategy for its project in Goa. Rohit Gera said, "For our project at Kadamba Plateau, we are in the process of finalising the key training areas for children. We know that football is very popular in Goa. We may get a football academy to provide training at our project."
The project at Kadamba Plateau will have one and two bed room apartments and also two and three bedroom cluster-villas and row-houses. Rohit Gera said, "At the time of the completion, the ownership of the project will be passed on to the buyers. In time, if the buyers are unhappy with the quality of training provided by an academy, they will be absolutely free to get any academy that they wish."
