Giants Group of Panaji celebrated Teachers’ Day at Fomento Hall in Panaji recently. Eight teachers from primary to college level were felicitated at the hands of chief guest Varsha Naik and guest of honour Subhash Kamat.
Those who were felicitated are, Habib B Shaikh, Prerna Fadte, Parveen Nisa A Khan, Kiran Kholkar, Manoj Raikar, Seema Bagkar, Dr Sitaram Sunkthankar and Lisa Maria Inocencia Nortan.
Function began with Giants prayer. Group President Raju Chodankar welcomed the gathering. Chief guest appreciated the Giants Group for the gesture and wished the teachers good luck in future. Bhalchandra Amonkar compared the function while Rajesh Tarcar proposed vote of thanks.
