Students of Gogte Institute of Technology have excelled at the virtual cultural event under the initiative of the National Initiative Programme at ‘Sojourn 2022’.
Sojourn 2022 was recently held in virtual mode by Thakur College of Engineering, Mumbai with the theme “Incredible India”, to encourage students to unite with the idea of sharing cultural and heritage responsibilities.
This event is under the banner of the National Initiative Programme where different states come together to celebrate the cultural, ethical and heritage exchange. Participants from Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Orissa took part in the event.
“Our students Mansi Naik bagged the first prize and Stuti Kulkarni bagged the third prize in the singing event, while Narayan Kate bagged the second prize in dance,” said Principal Dr Jayant Kittur.
Dr Kittur, Prof Satish Deshpande and Governing Council Chairman Rajendra Belgaumkar have congratulated the students on their achievements.
