All the four Canteens of Goa Medical College will continue to be non-functional as operators are yet to comply with the required FDA guidelines. A fresh round of inspections by the FDA on Monday found many discrepancies including cockroaches in water-tanks, fungus in utensils, and electric structures broken.
The FDA had asked the establishments to close last week after inspections had revealed violations of hygiene regulations.
