GMSS launches youth wing

PANAJI

Goa Movement for Special Status (GMSS) launched its youth wing on Friday by announcing the names of 20 young activists from various colleges across Goa.

One of the first activities of the youth wing will be witnessed on October 17, the death anniversary of Jack Sequeira, when a candle march will be organised from Miramar to Church Square in Panaji.

President of GMSS, Prajal Sakhardande, has invited all Goans to join the march.

He further informed that the youth wing will be expanded over the coming weeks, with an endeavour of harnessing the spirit of Goa’s youth to secure Matanhy Saldanha’s dream for Special Status.

“I appeal to Goa’s youth to join the cause and secure their right to employment and overcome land issues,” Sakhardande said.
