The Goa unit of National Students Union of India (NSUI) has called for a ban on Sanatan Sanstha and threatened to agitate.
NSUI State President Ahraz Mulla on Wednesday addressed a news conference in a city hotel along with general secretary Abhil Sharma and demanded an immediate ban on the organisation.
"It is real shame to have such organizations in the state. It should be banned for its notorious activities. They are against the idea of harmony," Mulla claimed.
"Goa is known for its secularism and tolerance. Communities have coexisted in mutual harmony for years. However, organizations like Sanatan Sanstha are posing a threat to this very fundamental basic," Mulla claimed further.
Mulla also said that NSUI is supporting Ramnath Yuwa Sangh on this issue and will participate in rally organised by the Sangh against Sanatan Sanstha that will be held on October 11.
