K Anpazhakan, Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise Goa, was the chief guest, while Directorate of Agriculture of Goa State Ulhas Pai Kakode, Sharat Chadriyan (CGM-CONCOR), Nitin Kunkolienker (ex-president GCCI and director of Corporate affair of Smart Link), Pramod Sant (vice-president of Siemens India Ltd) and all airlines, Customs house agents, forwarders of Goa, manufacturers of Goa and exporters were present.
On the occasion, Anpazhakan was felicitated as Best Commissioner of customs as per Traders Choice and Nitin Kunkolieinker was felicitated as son of State Goa towards best contribution for infrastructure development in Goa.
Many airlines, manufacturers, exporters, forwarders and Customs house agents were also felicitated for their best contribution for Goa Airport since last 15 years or more.
Chairman of Goa Air Cargo Association Mario Furtado, Manzoom Shaikh (president) and Satyajit Bhattacharjee (Founder cum secretary) said the event was organised to boost trade and through the event, they have requested the manufacturers of Goa to use the existing infrastructure of Goa Airport to make Mopa a successful project.
They said if the current infrastructure was under utilized, then investors will think about to invest on Mopa project for cargo.
