The Goa Forward Party (GFP) has launched a statewide outreach drive called ‘Amcho Awaaz Vijai’ to collect people’s complaints and raise them in the upcoming monsoon session of the Goa Legislative Assembly. GFP leaders Durgadas Kamat, Mohandas Lolienkar and Deepak Kalangutkar announced this at a press conference.

GFP General Secretary (Organisation) Durgadas Kamat said party president Vijai Sardesai had promised on his birthday that he would personally reach out to people across Goa, from Pernem to Canacona, to listen to their concerns. “We have planned this outreach in two phases,” he said.

Kamat urged Goans to send their complaints and suggestions by 10th July to publicsuggestions@goaforward.in so that these can be raised in the Assembly.

Deepak Kalangutkar, GFP’s North Goa District President, said people from all talukas are sending many complaints. The drive will start on 29th June at Bhagwati Hall, Pernem, followed by Mapusa Residency on 30th June for Bardez, Panjim on 2nd July for Tiswadi, and Bicholim on 3rd July at Z Square Hall for Bicholim and Sattari.

He shared the rest of the schedule: Vasco on 4th July, Canacona on 6th July, Dharbandora and Quepem on 7th July, Ponda on 9th July, Sanguem on 10th July, and Salcete on 11th July.

“In Fatorda, people meet Vijai Sardesai every Tuesday. Now, we are taking this spirit across Goa, visiting every taluka to listen and act,” Lolienkar said.

The party said it remains committed to taking up people’s issues in the Assembly.
