PANAJI: US Secretary of Defence Ashton Carter will visit the State with his delegation on Sunday.
Informing about his visit, Parrikar said, “He will arrive on Sunday. He is scheduled to visit two important places “ Mangueshi temple and Old Goa Church on Sunday. On Monday he will visit the Karwar naval base.” Parrikar said an extensive discussion on bilateral issues will be held in Delhi on April 12. “Prior to his visit, the under secretary was also in India last week. We had extensive discussion on various bilateral issues like Defence Technology and Trade Initiative among others", he said.
