VALPOI
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said Goa needs leadership focused on employment generation and creating opportunities for educated unemployed youth, asserting that leadership unable to provide jobs is no longer acceptable.
He was addressing a public gathering at Nagargaon during a Tiranga Rally organised by the BJP in Valpoi constituency. The rally saw participation from party workers, youth, women and senior citizens, with residents also hoisting the national flag on homes and vehicles.
Rane said families in Sattari, particularly Valpoi, make significant sacrifices to educate their children and expect stable employment opportunities for them. Limited jobs, however, have left many educated youths disappointed, he said.
“Changing this situation is the responsibility of public representatives,” Rane said, reiterating his commitment to creating employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth. “Youth have waited patiently for a long time; wait for a few more months, and we are committed to creating employment opportunities,” he said.
Rane said Goa required leadership that could create jobs and open new opportunities, and urged educated unemployed youth not to lose hope.
On the forthcoming Assembly elections, Rane expressed confidence that the BJP would return to power. He said employment generation, industrial growth, tourism development, agricultural advancement and creating opportunities for youth would be among the government’s priorities.
The Tiranga Rally began in Valpoi town and passed through various areas before culminating at Nagargaon, with a large number of four-wheelers and two-wheelers carrying the national flag.
